Fit for Science

Take on the role of Professor Alfred Lehmann’s research assistant and help select participants for his psychological experiments.

This game was created as part of the course Playable Media at the IT University of Copenhagen, in collaboration with the Medical Museion.

Alfred Lehmann is a real historical figure, and the experiments referenced in the game are based on ones he actually conducted. The game invites reflection on historical biases and exclusion within scientific research and is not an accurate representation of how Lehman worked:  he did not have a research assistant, nor did he recruit participants in the way portrayed here.
